Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular chiropractic care!

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many practice members become concerned that every visit will be of equal length. That is not the case. Here is what you can expect during your third and subsequent visits.

David City Chiropractor
  • You will be asked to sign in at the front desk.

  • In the treatment room, the doctor will briefly assess your condition and determine that day’s treatment activities.

  • You will receive your chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic modalities, if indicated.

  • The doctor will discuss and assign home care activities to speed your recovery when it is appropriate.

  • Recommended follow up will be scheduled at the front desk as you leave.

  • These visits are expected to last from 7 – 20 minutes depending on your body’s response, any therapies performed and your tolerance to any pain that you might still be experiencing.

The frequency and duration of your treatment plan will be based on and dependent on the response of your condition to care. This response depends greatly on your follow through with recommended visit frequency, your diligence with assigned home care activities, your age, your lifestyle and your work environment. Personal involvement in your recovery will be expected.

We are doing nothing magical with chiropractic. Chiropractic operates on basic physics and physiology (how your body functions). We are simply releasing your body’s natural healing ability by removing the mechanical and nervous system interference which can over load it and keep it from healing and being healthy. True healing takes time.
